LA ROCHELLE: HOMMAGE A CLAUDE BARRAS

Switzerland invites Europe. This year, Lucerne is host to the European Film Awards. Throughout the year, SWISS FILMS, in collaboration with Film Festivals in Europe will propose a focus on Swiss Films that have been nominated and/or a winner of the European Film Award. 

The Festival La Rochelle Cinéma (Fema) will pay Tribute to Claude Barras who's last film, SAVAGES, just premiered at the Cannes Film Festival. After several successfull short films (among them BANQUISE, International Short Film Competition Cannes 2005), Claude Barras hit the world successfully with his feature animated film MY LIFE AS A ZUCCHINI, who was awarded the European Animated Feature Film Award in 2016.

Claude Barras and Elie Chapuis will both be present for an after film discussion as well as a Special one hour talk around Puppet Animation.
