Stefania Burla
Screenwriter, Director, Cinematographer
Geboren 1988 in Basel, Schweiz. Sie ist eine polnisch-schweizerische Filmemacherin. Zunächst hat sie mehrere Jahre im Bereich Theater gearbeitet. 2012-15 BA in Kommunikations- und Filmwissenschaften an der Universität Zürich. 2017-2022 studierte sie an der Zürcher Hochschule der Künste (ZHdK) im Bachelor Film. 2019 machte sie einen Austausch an der School of Visual Arts in New York City. Ihr Abschlussfilm MACIERZ (engl.: MOTHERLAND) lief an mehreren internationalen Festivals und gewann am Flickers' Rhode Island International Film Festival den Nachwuchspreis. Seit September 2023 studiert sie im Master Regie Spielfilm an der ZHdK.
