The documentary follows the story of three young Baianas on their way to organising an appearance together atop a Trio Eletrico at the carnival of Bahia. Emanuelle Aroujo, LanLan and Rebeca Matta, three strong women of very different temperaments and styles, each tell of their musical passions, conflicts, influences and dreams, in the process painting a broad portrait of the history and scope of Bahian music, ist historical roots, the living Samba of the slums, to ist development today in the meetings with electronica, drum 'n bass, rock and hip hop.
