A creative documentary about 1944 Locarno-born informal materic artist Pierre Casè, his eventful life and career, and the Ticinese Maggia Valley where he lives, which represents his main source of inspiration and meta-historical research. Different layers are intertwined, like the artist's narrative, vision and oeuvre, the destiny of an archaic terra incognita turned into a universal metaphor for man's aberration, the poetry of the artist's late brother Angelo, a contemporary bestiary, and mesmeric music.
