A group of young amateur actors from Tangier gives voice to issues raised by the process of a translation from a book: a collection of stories of spoken Arabic transformed into written English, dating from 1979. The discussion revolves around the perception and preservation of cultural values and the survival and transmission of oral traditions. This essay, punctuated with various cultural references, is built up over the course of improvised conversations.
