Raed has a headache – figuratively and literally. It is distracting him from his work, so he decides to seek treatment and contacts the psychiatric services of the hospital in Ramallah. That’s right: Raed is a Palestinian and lives in Jordan’s West Bank. The doctor promises to cure him in 20 sessions. The consultation room is separated from the next room by mirrored glass. This construction is used normally for in-house further training but it makes it possible for Raed, who happens to be a film director, to film his own therapy. In this way, the observer becomes acquainted with his world.
