A “making of” of a film workshop set in a psychiatric hospital, during and after the pandemic lockdown. The story follows filmmaker and instructor Kevin Keaton, as he arrives to the town of Demir Hisar – Turkish for Iron Castle – population two thousand. He struggles to keep the workshop afloat, against mounting financial difficulties, due to the “new normal”. The poignant enthusiasm and creative mindset of the participants-patients save the workshop from a fiasco, and lead it to its natural conclusion, erasing on its way the borderline between documentary and fiction.
