After having spent two years in prison, Silvia Hodgers is living an “exile of atonement” in Switzerland – and has been for more than twenty years. The Argentinian woman had left her country following the military coup d'état of 1976, at which time she had belonged to the guerrilla army. A dance teacher, she creates a show using the images of her past which have left such an indelible mark on her. But one day she goes too far when she returns to Buenos Aires to meet old friends and to try to ascertain whether she could ever live in her country again. Memories and the present blend in the woman's inner world, tearing her apart while nourishing her art and her powerful life force.
