Rosalee Grable learns that she has pancreatic cancer with two days to six months to live. Her last wish is to be buried on Hart Island, a mass grave where New York City’s unclaimed, unidentified, or indigent are buried. She’s the only person to have ever requested to be buried there; it’s otherwise a place to bury those who have no other options.
