The film documents a Swiss man’s visit to Kosovo. He meets with old friends, all of whom are young Kosovo-Albanian men who lived in Germany for several years as refugees. The journey enables the examination of the young men’s different approaches to coping with the problems of unemployment, poverty and lack of prospects in Kosovo. Optimism, dejection and hope stand in heart-rending confrontation. Although the manner in which the four protagonists deal with life varies, they have one thing in common: they are waiting for the future.
