Paula Monesterolo
Director, Screenwriter, Cinematographer, Producer
Paula Monesterolo *1998, is an Argentine interdisciplinary artist, specializing in Creative Film Direction and Photography. She graduated in Cinematography from the University of Cinema, Buenos Aires, in 2023. Between 2020 and 2024, she expanded her expertise through workshops in diverse artistic and technical languages, such as color grading, video mapping, stage lighting, 3D sculpting, visual programming, scenic creation and contemporary dance.
Through her visual expressions she explores the symbiosis between the body, space and technology creating new relationships through film, dance, electronic music and new digital image technologies.
Since 2021, Paula has directed music videos and dance films. Her debut, NECROSIS (2021), a music and dance video was acclaimed at international festivals.
Currently, she is in post-production for her first documentary feature film, VORÁGINE (Argentina-Switzerland co-production), directing music videos and dance films, and exploring the language of performing arts with FRACTURA, a multidisciplinary project in collaboration with artists from Switzerland and Argentina.
